What is chiropractic animal care?
Animal Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy concerned with good health through restoration and maintenance of a properly functioning neuromusculoskeletal system, without the use of drugs or surgery.
Animal chiropractors do not perform veterinary medicine or diagnose veterinary medical conditions. Your primary care vet may refer to us to help with neck/back/joint pain, nerve problems, sport/event injuries, and arthritis. Animal Chiropractors find and correct Vertebral Subluxation Complexes (VSC), biomechanically dysfunctional joints of the spine or extremities that can irritate the nervous system and cause a multitude of bodily symptoms.
Animal Chiropractic is a manual therapy that focuses on the biomechanical dysfunction of the spine and its effect on the entire nervous system throughout the body.
NOTE: Chiropractic care does NOT replace regular veterinary care – however, it can provide additional treatment options for spinal problems as well as biomechanical relation musculoskeletal disorder.
